Ranchi, March 23: Special Branch of Jharkhand Police has issued a special alert in view of Eid.
The Special Branch has written a letter to the DCs and SPs of all the districts. In this letter, the Special Branch has asked the districts to be alert and prepared on four points. The points on which the Special Branch has asked to be especially vigilant include traffic around mosques, monitoring social media, keeping an eye on anti-social elements and peace committee meetings.
In the letter sent by the Special Branch, it is said that on March 28, mass namaz is read at different places in the state. The biggest problem that arises during this time is traffic. Apart from this, there is a problem regarding security. This day is very special for the festival, so there is a need for special monitoring and vigilance on this occasion.
The letter states that crowds gather during the festival and anti-social elements are also active. In such a situation, special care is needed. It has been said that to deal with any kind of untoward incident, police and traffic police need to be deputed around mosques.
Along with monitoring social media, monitor objectionable posts and take action against those who post them. It advises to keep an eye on anti-social elements and hold a meeting of the peace committee at the police station level.
