Ranchi: In a recent development, the Jharkhand Police Headquarters has issued a notification late on Saturday night, revealing the promotion of 51 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Inspector. The decision follows a meeting of the Central Selection Board held on November 24, 2023, at the Jharkhand Police Headquarters, during which eligibility assessments were conducted.
The notification clarified that out of the 71 ASIs considered, 51 were found eligible for promotion, while 20 were deemed ineligible. The promoted ASIs, set to assume the role of Inspectors, represent a diverse group of law enforcement professionals.
The list of ASIs set to be promoted includes individuals such as Dilip Singh, Chandrabhushan Pratap Singh, Gupteshwar Singh, Surendra Das, Anand Bhushan Singh, Arvind Singh, Shivji Singh, Akhilesh Kunwar Satyendra Narayan Singh, Surendra Kumar Singh, Shailendra Kumar, Subhash Singh, Minesh Yadav, Naval Kishore Singh, Sanjay Yadav, Rement Pan, Anil Singh, Yogendra Sharma, Mamta Kumari, Saheb Kunwar, Dhananjay Singh, Om Prakash, Ram Pravesh Sharma, Ashok Paswan, Shailendra Sharma, Radhakrishna Singh, Manjhi Murmu, Dharo Oraon, Harinarayan Singh, Niranjan Singh, Nageshwar Mehta, Bodhi Sao, Karun Kumar Rai, Krishna Dev Prasad, Javed Alam Khan, Ashwini Jha, Harinandan Mishra, Sudhir Kumar Thakur, Ram Badan Singh, Chamari Yadav, Lalan Singh, Virendra Gupta, Rajnath Yadav, Ram Janam Prasad, Ram Prasad Paswan, Vijay Kumar, Arjun Yadav, Manohar Paswan, Mudrika Prasad, Ashish Kumar, Ashish Paswan, and Jai Kishore Singh.
