Jamshedpur, Sept 26: The auspicious inauguration of the grand Durga Puja Pandal, organized by the Shri Shri Durga Puja Committee of Durga Haat Market, Chhota Govindpur, Jamshedpur, was solemnly conducted today.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Deepika Pandey Singh , Minister of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Government of Jharkhand, as the Chief Guest, and Mangal Kalindi, MLA of Jugsalai Assembly constituency, as the Guest of Honour. During the event, the minister extended her heartfelt wishes for the happiness, prosperity, and peace of the people of the state, and conveyed warm greetings on the occasion of Durga Puja.

The inauguration witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including District Council President Bari Murmu, Vice President Pankaj Sinha, Former President Rajkumar Singh, District Council Member Paritosh Singh, senior Congress leaders Ashok Chaudhary, Vijay Yadav and Vijay Khan, senior BJP leader Babua Singh, along with representatives of the Durga Puja Central Committee, Bhupendra Singh, Dharmendra Prasad, and Gautam Prasad, among other notable guests.

This year’s Pandal has emerged as a remarkable attraction with its theme inspired by Gautam Buddha, symbolizing peace, patience, and non-violence. Marking its 57th anniversary in 2025, the committee has witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees and local citizens alike.
