Jharkhand: Hemant Govt to start slew of populist schemes from Nov 15

Pulses to all, superspeciality hospital, training for govt employees

Ranchi, October 22: Preparations are underway to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of large-scale schemes on Jharkhand Foundation Day.

Under the Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar campaign, CM’s program will be held in all the districts from November 15. After signing the MOU with the state government, the scheme for distribution of Dal (pulses) will start in the state.

On the occasion of Jharkhand Foundation Day Chief Minister Hemant Soren will launch ‘Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Se Abhiyan-3’. Preparations are also going on for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of large scale schemes on this day.

It was told that on the same day the state government will sign an MoU with Azim Premji University. Azim Premji University will provide facilities ranging from technical education to medical, business etc. in a single campus.

This will be a different kind of university in itself. On November 15, the foundation stone of Apollo Multi Super Specialty Hospital, Chennai will be laid in the Ranchi Smart City complex where OPD will start in the first phase.

Later a hospital with 250 beds will be built.

Starting from November 15, your government will run a campaign in every panchayat and block under the third phase of the campaign.

Then a district level campaign will also run. It was told that the Chief Minister himself will go to every district level campaign. From November 16, he will participate in the campaign in the districts. Its preparations are going on in full swing at the administrative level.

Exhibition of welfare schemes will also be organized. On the occasion of Foundation Day, exhibition of various welfare schemes of the government will also be organized in Ranchi. There will also be a facility to provide on-spot benefits to the beneficiaries.

 Exhibitions will also be organized in the districts.

Jharkhand State Training Policy-2023 prepared: The state government has prepared Jharkhand State Training Policy 2023 to increase the efficiency of its employees. The policy has been formulated on the lines of the National Training Policy to enhance the knowledge, skills, managerial ability and attitude of the personnel. Under this, employees will have to undergo mandatory training in three phases. Employees will have to undergo basic training of eight to 14 weeks at the time of entry into service. Only after this their service will be confirmed. After this, there will be in-service training of two to three weeks once in six to eight years. In the final stage, three to five days training will be given immediately after promotion.

State Training Council will be formed to increase the efficiency of employees. The Council will prepare guidelines for the implementation of the training policy. Training managers will be appointed in all departments.

Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration or SKIPA will play an important role in the training program.

The Food Supply Department is preparing to start the pulse distribution scheme for the poor from November 15. Before this, the process of MoU with NAFED will be completed. An exercise has been started by the state government in this regard.

The state government has planned to distribute one kg pulses at a subsidized rate of Re 1 per family per month to about 65 lakh beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act 2013 and Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme. There is a proposal to spend Rs 55 crore in the financial year 2023-24 for the implementation of the scheme.

The Central Government has allocated 8600 tonnes of gram for pulses to the poor of Jharkhand. It has been sent to NAFED for milling.
