Jamshedpur: On the auspicious day of the final rituals of Chhath, a prominent festival of folk faith and sun worship, Health Minister Banna Gupta fulfilled his promise to the people of Jamshedpur. He led the prayers at Domuhani Ghat, expressing gratitude for the joy and prosperity brought by Chhath Maiya and Lord Bhaskar to Jharkhand and the entire nation.
Gupta stated, “Chhath Maiya and Lord Bhaskar bring happiness to the entire country, including Jharkhand. It is our best wish to provide you with prosperity and happiness.”
Highlighting his commitment, he declared, “I kept my promise, thousands of devotees performed Chhath Puja at Sonari Dumuhani Chhath Ghat.” Gupta had pledged to enhance Chhath Maiya’s worship arrangements during Mahashivratri, and this year’s celebrations witnessed the fulfillment of that commitment.
The festive atmosphere at Domuhani Ghat saw thousands of devotees participating in the devotional rituals, expressing gratitude for the well-organized event. Gupta humbly acknowledged, “I have no capacity to do anything without the blessings of Chhathi Maiya; whatever happened was done by Mother, I was just a medium.”
Assuring continuous improvement, Gupta promised, “I will fulfill the remaining deficiencies next year and will try to make better arrangements with the glory and blessings of Chhath Maiya.” He extended heartfelt gratitude to the community for their love, cooperation, and blessings.
