Jharkhand Health minister for cleaning Domuhani ghat on Sundays, Saturdays

Jamshedpur, Mar 21: State health minister and Jamshedpur West Congress MLA Banna Gupta reached the Domuhani point in Sonari for cleaning the merger point of two rivers Kharkai and Subernarekha river with the help of team members of Swachhata Pukare Team. 
The minister also took part in cleaning the river ghats and removed plastic bottles, polythene, puja paraphernalia and remains of idols etc just a day before the World Water Day. 
The minister also announced that he would be undertaking such cleaning activities near the Domuhani point every Sunday and appealed to the NGOs to come forward in cleaning the point every Sunday and Saturday and said that on Sundays and Saturdays there would be a campaign to clean the river banks at Domuhani 
He also said that an action plan would be made to conserve Subernarekha River and beautify its nearby areas. 
The campaign which also participation of Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited official Gaurav Anand along with representatives of other departments of Tata Steel removed 20 tons of of waste from the river bank.
