Jharkhand HC quashes complaint against Railway official

Jamshedpur, July 10: Jharkhand High Court has quashed the complaint lodged in Jamshedpur civil court against railway officials Hitendra Goyal and Paritosh Das. 
Significantly, Narendra Kumar Srivastava, a resident under Sidhgora thana area had lodged a complaint against both the railway officials in Jamshedpur civil court in 2005 to which the court had taken cognizance. The complaint states that Narendra’s company Shiva Construction used to bag contracts from South Eastern Railway in Chakradharpur and it was alleged that both the railway officials used to seek 10 per cent additional amount from the bill of the work from the contractor. 
It was alleged that when Narendra had resisted the railway officials had threatened and assaulted him. The two accused had taken bail from Jamshedpur court and filed a complant at High Court for cancelling the complaint in the Jamshedpur court.
