Jharkhand Govt working to bring back smiles on each resident’s face: Hemant 

CM pays floral tributes at Durga Soren’s birth anniversary

Ranchi, September 10: Chief minister Hemant Soren said that government is working to create a positive environment for development in the state and aspires to bring back smiles on each resident’s face.

Speaking at the birth anniversary function of his elder brother Durga Soren at Lowadih in Ranchi, Hemant Soren said, “After the long struggle of the brave sons of the state, we have managed to get a separate Jharkhand state, but even after completing more than 20 years of the formation of the state, the dream of development and progress which our ancestors had wished is yet to be fulfilled and in fact is disintegrating. In the year 2019, all the people of Jharkhand have formed their government with full strength and determination. Our government is working to bring back smiles on everyone’s faces. Coming out of the Covid pandemic period, our government has worked to create a positive atmosphere in the state. Our government is continuously working for public aspirations and public interest.”

 Chief Minister Hemant Soren and former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren along with other senior JMM leaders paid floral tributes on the occasion of Durga Soren’s birth anniversary at his memorial in Ranchi.

The state of Jharkhand is the product of the long movement and struggle of the Adivasis- Indigenous peoples said Soren.

“Thousands of tribal-natives, including brave sons Nirmal Mahto, Binod Bihari Mahto, played an important role in the separate Jharkhand state movement. These great personalities have done the work of fulfilling the dream of water, forest, land and a separate Jharkhand state. It is a matter of pride for all of us. In the long struggle for a separate state, many brave martyrs like leaders, guides, fathers and elders left their homes and dedicated everything for this state,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that today everyone is remembering the late Durga Soren on his birth anniversary. The elder brother Durga Soren had dedicated his life to the state and organization. Following the path shown by him, we all have to strengthen and move forward the state and the organization. The Chief Minister asked the people that all of you should cooperate with the government in taking the future schemes of the state government to the doorsteps.

 Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Shibu Soren said that today we are remembering our brave martyrs. They have done the work of saving the natural wealth and water, forest, land here. The coming generation should also try to save the water, forest and land of Jharkhand.

After garlanding program on the birth anniversary of Late Durga Soren, Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid homage to Param Vir Chakra recipient martyr Abdul Hameed by garlanding his statue at Kantatoli Chowk, Ranchi.
