Jamshedpur, Feb 23: The second day of ‘Tata Steel Sport Climbing Championship 2022 (TSSCC)’ saw a full-fledged participation with extremely high energy at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Wednesday.
The events unfurled today were Bouldering and Lead. The excitement of kids has been exemplary. Jharkhand girls under Youth A category won silver and bronze medals in the lead and bouldering events
It is wonderful to see parents support youngsters in this sport at such tender ages as 7 and 8.
One of the parent’s says she put her daughter into rock climbing to channelise her endless energy into something athletic and adventurous. To break the stigma and become warriors in a growing sport.
She has travelled all the way from Chennai, even though she is working from here to support her daughter.
