Jharkhand gets six new IPS officers in 2024 cadre allocation

Ranchi, June 1: Jharkhand is set to strengthen its police administration with the allocation of six new Indian Police Service (IPS) officers under the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 cadre allocation list released by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry’s Police-I Division, six officers have been allotted to the Jharkhand cadre. Among them, two officers are from Jharkhand, while the remaining four hail from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
The officers allocated to the Jharkhand cadre are Kabil Bhargava (Rank 122) and Pulkit Bansal (Rank 155) from Delhi, Mansi Singh (Rank 168) from Uttar Pradesh, Karan Kumar (Rank 174) and Saurabh Rajendu (Rank 199) from Jharkhand, and Karmveer Narwadia (Rank 795, SC Category) from Rajasthan.
The fresh induction is expected to enhance the state’s policing capabilities and administrative efficiency.
Following the completion of their training and mandatory formalities, the officers will be assigned responsibilities across various districts and departments in Jharkhand.
Officials believe the addition of these young officers will provide fresh leadership and further strengthen law enforcement and governance in the state.
