“Never Bound by Study Hours, Studied When I Felt Like It”

Tanmay Tanay brought immense pride to his family, school, and region by securing CRL 708 in the JEE Advanced results. He had previously scored a 99.94 percentile in JEE Main as well.

Tanmay resides in Jagjivan Nagar. His father, Mukesh Kumar, works in Salboni in the Midnapore district of West Bengal, while his mother, Amrita Singh, manages their home. He scored over 90% in his Class 12 boards.

“I expected a much better rank, but I am still happy with what I got,” Tanmay said. He plans to choose his engineering branch based on this rank, keeping Computer Science as his top priority.

Unlike many aspirants, Tanmay prefers studying during the day rather than at night. He never bound himself to strict study hours and simply opened his books whenever he felt motivated. He studied under the guidance of Ajay Sir. Offering advice to his juniors, Tanmay said, “Focus completely on whatever your teachers teach. Consistency is the ultimate key to success.”

Eight to Ten Hours of Daily Study

Abhinav Kumar, a student of Crescent International School in Govindpur, secured CRL 5751 in the JEE Advanced. He had previously scored a 99.73 percentile in JEE Main.

Abhinav resides in Dev Vihar, Jharudih. His father, Rakesh Kumar, runs his own business, and his mother, Manju Singh, is a homemaker. Abhinav scored over 92% in his Class 12 exams. Earlier, he scored 98.0% in his Class 10 boards at De Nobili School, CMRI.

“I hoped for a better rank, but it came out a bit lower than expected,” Abhinav noted. He will select his branch based on this rank, though he prefers Computer Science. Abhinav studied for about eight to ten hours every single day. According to him, maintaining consistency in studies is vital to cracking the exam.
