Jharkhand gears up for State-Level Inter-School Band Competition with 2500 participants

Ranchi: The School and Literacy Department, in collaboration with the Jharkhand Education Project Council, is all set to host a vibrant two-day state-level inter-school band competition on November 16th and 17th at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Khelgaon, Ranchi. The event will see the enthusiastic participation of 2500 talented boys and girls from all 24 districts of Jharkhand.

Dhirsen A. Soreng, the Program Officer of the Jharkhand Education Project, announced that the victorious performers in this musical extravaganza will be rewarded with a 25-day camp, followed by the chance to represent their skills at the national level. In a bid to ensure the smooth execution of the competition, a dedicated committee has been formed by the Education Project. The committee comprises members from the Physical Education and Sports Cell, along with the responsibility bestowed upon physical education teachers.

This state-level inter-school band competition not only promises to showcase the musical talents of Jharkhand’s youth but also serves as a platform for cultural exchange and collaboration. The Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium is set to resonate with the melodies and beats of the participating students, fostering an atmosphere of creativity and celebration. (w/nkm)
