Jamshedpur, Aug 4: Jharkhand is all set to organize a grand Jharkhand Janjatiya Mahotsav (Jharkhand Tribal Festival) 2022 on 9th and 10th August. The much awaited event will be held at the Morabadi ground in Ranchi. Tribal artists from North East will also participate in the event. State government is geared up to give final touches to preparations for the grand show.
The event will be inaugurated on 9th August at the Morabadi ground. The chief guest of the occasion will be former Jharkhand CM and Rajya Sabha MP Sibu Soren. On 10th August, the chief guest of the programme will be Chhatisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will preside over the programme. All Jharkhand state Cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, Panchayat members and Ranchi Mayor will also be present during the programme.
During the programme, artists of Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Odisha and Mizoram will showcase various tribal dance forms, music and other traditional art and culture. A tribal fashion show will also be organized. Tribal food and handicraft will also be showcased during the programme.
