Ranchi, March 23: The confrontation of Congress MLAs with the government is not stopping.
On Saturday also, three Congress MLAs clashed with the drinking water and sanitation minister Yogendra Prasad over the Nal Jal Yojana.
The figures of the department were declared completely wrong.
One after the other Congress MLAs kept uniting. Finally, the departmental minister Yogendra Prasad had to order an inquiry.
Yogendra Prasad said that he will get the matter investigated. After the report comes, action will be taken as per the rules. The matter was related to Kolebira, the assembly constituency of Congress MLA Naman Vikas Kongari.
In response to his question, Kongari termed the figures given by the department as completely wrong. He told that the department has said in its reply that the target was to provide drinking water to 63666 houses in Kolebira under the Nal Jal Yojana. Against this, 61783 Drinking water has been supplied to the houses, which is a 97% achievement.
After this, Congress MLA Rajesh Kachhap also stood up in the House. He said that he does not want to get entangled in the jugglery of figures. The figures themselves are completely wrong. The same situation prevails in our constituency. Then Bhushan Bara raised the issue of Nal Jal Yojana in Simdega Assembly constituency. He said that in his constituency, water has been said to have been supplied to 1.20 lakh houses against 1.21 lakh houses. But in his constituency, no village in any Panchayat has received the benefit of Nal Jal Yojana.
Seeing the Congress MLAs gradually uniting, the departmental minister announced in the House that an inquiry will be conducted. After this, the matter calmed down.
