Jharkhand Congress bracing up to give telling account in Kolhan VS polls

Jamshedpur, Aug 1: The Congress party has started preparations to give a telling account in the ensuing Vidhan Sabha polls. In Kolhan the scenario is not any different. Congress spokesman for Kolhan region and senior party leader Sureshdhari while addressing a press meeting in Gamharia said, �The Congress will enter the VS election arena under the astute leadership of state president Dr Ajoy Kumar. There is no place in the party for those leaders who are hell bent on vilifying the party�s image and that of the state president. Stern action will be taken against such leaders and executives who are uttering trash.�

Sureshdhari said that the party would take up issues against anti people policies being adopted by the government while preparing for the LS polls. He accused the state government of being a failure on all fronts. �The prevailing state of lawlessness is evident in the rising and unabated graphs of theft, dacoity, rape, mob lynching. The government is oblivious of the fact that major companies are shutting down and thousands of workers are losing their jobs which make the economic canvas most gloomy,� the Kolhan spokesman said.

Sureshdhari accused the government of fanning divisive fire among youth instead of providing them with jobs. �Instead of giving them pens the government is giving them ammunition of disruption on the social firmament. Our LS election manifesto will include job for jobless, ensuring the rights of the Adivasi community and other such major issues. Another major point of concern is that In spite of government orders caste certificates were not being issued resulting in missing out on job and professional education opportunities.�
