Chaibasa: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will distribute job offer letters at the Regional Job Fair organized at the Tata College Ground in Chaibasa on Friday, August 18.
The organizers stated that the aim of the Fair was to provide employment opportunities to local candidates in the private sector under the provisions of the Jharkhand State Planning and Employment Act 2021 and Rules as amended in 2022.
Around 9,000 trained candidates from various Skill Development Centers operating under the Birsa Yojna and Jharkhand Skill Development Mission will receive offer letters during the event. The program will witness the presence of state ministers, both MPs from Singhbhum region, legislators, and other dignitaries.
A review meeting was held under the guidance of officials from the Department of Labor, Planning, Training, and Skill Development to ensure smooth functioning of the event during which Chief Minister Hemant Soren would distribute job offer letters to the successful candidates. District Commissioner Manoj Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Kolhan Region) Ajay Linda, Deputy Commissioner of West Singhbhum Ananya Mittal, and Superintendent of Police Asutosh Shekhar inspected the event venue.
Proper arrangements have been put in place to ensure the comfort of dignitaries and candidates attending the event. The features include signage and directions, parking facilities and traffic management.
The program will also have designated parking slots for vehicles of candidates from West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharsawan districts. Parking arrangements for vehicles of stationed officials have been made in the Collectorate premises. Additionally, parking arrangements for ministers and invited guests, including journalists, have been arranged for at the Tata College Ground.
