Ranchi, May 3: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Saturday during the launch of health insurance scheme for the advocates of Jharkhand and their dependents that it was an historic day.
The Chief Minister said that an attempt has been made to reduce the worries of the advocates – the burden of health-related responsibilities which was on their shoulders till now, the government has decided to take it on its shoulders.
He was addressing the launch program of “Health Insurance Scheme for Advocates” under the State Employees Health Insurance Scheme at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Khelgaon, Ranchi.
He said that the government is trying to establish one of the best law universities of the country in Jharkhand. A plan is being prepared for this and soon its implementation will start on the ground.

The Chief Minister said that the government is concerned about every class and every person of the state – whether he is in the village or in the city, rich or poor, businessman or student, children or the elderly. The government is committed to the all-round development of everyone. He said that the government is trying to ensure that its plans and thoughts reach every population of the state.
Chief minister further said that the backwardness of Jharkhand is a matter of concern for all of us. To overcome this, the government is constantly making positive efforts and is committed to take the state on the path of development.
He said that problems keep coming in life and solving them is the priority of the government. This insurance scheme launched for the health of advocates and their dependents is a big step in that direction. Apart from this, the government is also making plans to further improve the work of advocacy.
The Chief Minister said that Guruji Credit Card Scheme has been started to provide quality higher education to the children of the state. Under this, a loan of up to Rs 15 lakh can be availed without any guarantee, so that children can get higher education in engineering, doctor, lawyer, journalist or any other field.
