Ranchi, March 8: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren lauded the work of home guard corps and fire service cadre during the closing ceremony of the Jharkhand state home guard corps and fire service sports competition in Ranchi on Saturday.
“Personnel of the Home Guard Corps and Fire Service Cadre work as an integral part of the state government. Be it in a city or a remote rural area, your activities are performed continuously everywhere. All of you are engaged in serving the common people step by step with the state government,” said Soren.
“In today’s busy routine, people often live in a state of stress, but through such competitions or programs, they enjoy this competition by getting stress-free even if for a short time. Sports have great importance in life. Sports, songs, music are important for people of all ages,” added Soren.
The Chief Minister said that the sports competition was successfully organized in this campus through the Home Guard Corps and Fire Service Cadre.
The Chief Minister rewarded the winners and runners-up participants of various games.
The program was attended by additional chief secretary Avinash Kumar, DG home guard corps and Ffre service Anil Palta, ADG training Priya Dubey, zonal IG Ranchi Akhilesh Jha and other senior IPS.
