Jharkhand CM, Guv pay tributes to Rajendra Prasad, Albert Ekka 

Ranchi, December 3: Jharkhand Governor  Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Hemant Soren shared dais paid tribute to the country’s first President Bharat Ratna Rajendra Prasad and Paramveer Chakra recipient Amar Shaheed Veer Albert Ekka.

It was the death anniversary of Paramveer Chakra winner martyr Albert Ekka of Jharkhand, while on the other hand it is the birth anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad. On this occasion, people from all walks of life including politicians, professionals and bureaucrats remembered the great leaders and paid tribute in different parts of the state.

In Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid floral tributes to Albert Ekka on his death anniversary by paying floral tributes at his statue at Firayalal Chowk on Mahatma Gandhi Marg. After this the Chief Minister went to Rajendra Chowk in Ranchi. Here he paid tribute to the statue of Rajendra Prasad.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren tweeted on this occasion and said that on the martyrdom day of the great warrior Paramveer Chakra Albert Ekka, the brave son of Jharkhandi soil. During the Sangharsh Yatra, I had the privilege of paying obeisance to the heroic land of the great warrior village Jari. Together we have to give respect and honor to this land which has been gifted by poor system for years.

Chief Minister said that today is the day to remember two great personalities of the country. Today is the birth anniversary of the country’s first President Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad and the martyrdom day of the brave tribal son of Jharkhand, Shaheed Albert Ekka. The Chief Minister said that it is because of such great personalities that all of us are living with dignity in such a big republic and democratic country. We are proud of such great personalities.
