Ranchi, November 1: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren reviewed progress of construction of Yogada Satsang Ashram-Kantatoli-Kokar flyover at Ranchi on Tuesday.
Chief minister directing the officials to ensure that construction work should be completed within the stipulated period. The Chief Minister said that special attention should be paid to timeliness and quality in the construction of this flyover from Yogda Satsang Ashram to Shanti Nagar of Kokar via Kanta Toli Chowk.
“Our priority is to make transport accessible in the state capital Ranchi. It is necessary to start the flyover to get rid of the problem of traffic to the people. If there is any obstacle in the flyover construction work, then the construction company and JUIDCO should expedite the works by coordinating with the state government immediately.
The Chief Minister directed the officials of JUIDCO to settle all the process related to land acquisition and petrol pumps and other encroachments by November 30, 2022.
Similarly, the work of shifting of electricity poles should be completed by December 15, 2022 so that there is no obstruction in the construction work.
The Chief Minister directed that construction agency should take care that people should not face any inconvenience during the construction work by building a good diversion road so that there is no problem for vehicular movement.

The Chief Minister directed the officials of the contractor company to make junctions wherever there is a need for Kantatoli to make the flyover free from jam during construction. Ensure compliance of safety standards at the time of flyover construction. There should be no lapse in safety standards. The Chief Minister directed Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha to ensure that there is no shortage of sand in the construction work.
Before the flyover inspection, JUIDCO and contractor M/s Dinesh Chandra R Aggarwal Infracon Private Limited gave detailed information on every aspect through a presentation related to the progress of work
The Chief Minister said that work should be done at a fast pace by ensuring that small problems do not create any hindrance in the work. This should be done by coordinating with the state government and completing all the works on time.
