Ranchi, January 6: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced that a separate health facility for police is being planned by the government and renovation of police training centers and police barracks in two years.
Addressing passing out parade of IRB-8 (Godda) and SIRB-1 (Dumka) and SIRB-2 (Khunti) at JAP-4 ground in Bokaro on Friday, Soren said, 1892 jawans are going to contribute to the service of the state after getting training from various training institutes of Jharkhand Police.
“A total of 630 women constables are going to contribute their male constables, it is a matter of pride for the entire state. Increasing participation of women in the police department is an example of women empowerment,” said Soren.
The Chief Minister planted trees and also inaugurated the reverse osmosis plant for the campus and announced of that police training centers, JAP headquarters and police line centers will be renovated soon.
“During various programs one gets an opportunity to visit police training centers and institutions. During this, while taking information about the updated situation there, it is known that many problems are prevalent. It has a direct impact on the trainers and the trainees. In such a situation, I assure you that within the next two years, all the training centers, JAP headquarters and police line centers will be renovated, so that the training program can be conducted in a better environment,” announced Soren.
The Chief Minister said that the police department should have its own health service, the government is thinking in this direction. Its purpose is to provide better health facilities to the policemen, so that they can discharge their duties and responsibilities in a better way.
The Chief Minister honored best cadet overall Archana Kumari, best cadet (indoor) Bhimraj Vishwakarma, best cadet (outdoor) Vikram Kumar Tiwari and best cadet (shooting) Manju Kumari with trophies.
