Jharkhand Class 12 results show improvement over last year: Education Minister Ramdas Soren

Ranchi: Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren on Saturday announced the results of the JAC Intermediate Commerce and Science examinations. While releasing the results at the JAC office in Ranchi, he noted that the overall performance of students this year was better compared to the previous year.

The Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 79.26% in 2025, up from 72.79% in 2024. Similarly, the Commerce stream saw an improvement, rising from 90.60% last year to 91.02% this year.

Minister Soren congratulated the students, their parents, and the education department for this positive outcome. “The country has made great strides in the field of education,” he said. “Although the state’s education system was relatively weak at the time of Jharkhand’s formation 25 years ago, we are now working to build a strong, inclusive, and accessible system for all students.”

He emphasized that the state government is committed to providing all necessary facilities for quality, technical, professional, and higher education within Jharkhand itself. “Our goal is to ensure that students no longer need to leave Jharkhand in search of better education opportunities,” he added.
