Jharkhand chief electoral officer visits naxal-affected Budha Pahar 

Garhwa, April 19: Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar today arrived to take stock of the election preparations in Budha Pahad area which has been affected by Naxal disturbances for a long time.

In this sequence, he reached Hesatu village near Budha Pahad in Badgad block of Garhwa district and took information about the situation from the security officers posted in Budha Pahad area.

K Ravikumar  interacted with the villagers and motivated them to vote. During this time, along with the Chief Electoral Officer, senior officers of CRPF and Police Administration were also present.

Incidentally, Budha Pahad area comes under Palamu Lok Sabha constituency. Voting is going to be held here in the fourth phase on May 13. In view of the elections, security forces and Election Commission are in alert mode.
