Jharkhand cabinet approves Ethanol policy, 145 posts in 5 degree colleges approved  

Ranchi, October 21: Jharkhand cabinet meeting held on Friday approved Ethanol policy along with 25 other proposal.

The Hemant Soren’s government will give subsidy of up to Rs 30 crore for setting up ethanol plant in the state. Under Ethanol Production Promotion Policy, the government will give capital subsidy of up to 25 percent to the investors. This amount has been fixed at 10 crores for small industries and 30 crores for big industries.

At the same time, 145 posts have been approved in five degree colleges under Vinoba Bhave University. These include Mandu, Barkagaon, Simaria, Bagodar and Jamua. Apart from this, the proposal to install smart meters in Dhanbad has been approved. Approval of Governor’s proposal to insure six vehicles purchased for security Carcade was also approved.

Among other important decisions approval was given on the notification issued for partial amendment in the Jharkhand Assistant Teacher Service Condition Rules, 2021.*

The cabinet gave nod for the appointment of technical manpower under the Department of Information Technology and e-Governance, Jharkhand, for bringing the available data of the beneficiaries under the schemes of the Central and State Government implemented in various departments of the state on a Unified Digital Data Platform, a total of Rs. 7 crore was approved for the cause.

In Seraikela-Kharsawan district, in Rengogoda of Kharsawan block a total of 0.71 acres land at a total amount of due amount is Rs.15,59,160 was granted for free lease settlement for 30 years to M/s Shree Cement Ltd.

Another 0.47 acres of land in Hansda area of Kharsawan in the same district at an estimated amount of Rs. 8,07,157 was given in lease for 30 to M/s Shree Cement Limited for industrial purpose.

A total of Rs.361.35 crore was approved for the construction work of Gumani barrage scheme in Sahibganj district.

Approval was given for the sanctioned pay scale for the post of Principal Probation Officer of Probation Service under Home, Prison and Disaster Management Department.

Approval was also given for supply, installation and operation of smart meters under Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System in Dhanbad.

The cabinet gave a nod on compassionate grounds by relaxing the maximum age limit and minimum educational qualification requirement of Kapra Hansda, the dependent mother of Ganesh Hansda, a resident of the state, who was martyred in a clash with the Chinese Army in Galwan Valley, Ladakh on June 6, 2022 for class four post.

Around 0.2630 acres of land was approved for Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India on payment of only Rs 68,94,874 for a special railway project

Approval was given to amend the Jharkhand Contingency Fund Act, 2001.
