Before presenting the budget on March 3, the state government is also preparing to present the third supplementary budget for the current financial year.

The preparations for the budget session have also been completed by both the ruling parties and the opposition. The closeness between the BJP and the AJSU party has increased during the Ramgarh assembly by-election. Now both the parties will try to surround the government on the issue of employment, law and order and corruption in the budget session. Apart from this, some angry MLAs of the ruling party can also create difficulties in front of their own government on the issue of public interest. There will also be a separate meeting of UPA and NDA MLAs on Monday.

Compared to the last financial year 2022-23, this time (2023-24) provision of more amount is expected in the budget. Last time a budget of Rs 1.01 lakh crore was presented. This time it is expected to have a budget of more than 1. 11 lakh crores . Here, an interesting case will be seen in this budget as Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon will present the budget for the fourth time. Earlier, the record of presenting the budget five times in a row was in the name of former CM cum Finance Minister Raghubar Das.

Before the preparation of this year’s budget, the state government had named the budget ‘Hamin Kar Budget’ to connect with the sentiments of the people. According to experts, three-fourth of the state’s population is dependent on agriculture. Keeping this in mind and according to the suggestion received on the budget, the government can show more focus on this sector. Also, according to experts in financial matters, a balanced budget can be made only when half of the budget is spent on infrastructural development. Of the remaining 50 percent, 30 percent should be spent on state needs and 20 percent on other liabilities.
