Jamshedpur, Feb 26: Achievers Cup—Season 1, a two-day tennis ball cricket tournament organized by Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) Tatanagar Achievers Branch, concluded on Sunday, February 26 at Cable Town Ground in Golmuri. In the final match of the tourney, CA Students XI beat MYM Steel City branch to take home the Achievers Cup. MYM Steel City XI had to be content with the runners’ trophy.
Income Tax Department’s Managing Director Sishir Dhamija and social workers Nand Kishore Lal and Vishal Singh were special guests at the closing ceremony of the tournament.
The other category winners included Neeraj Agarwal (Best Batsman in the tournament), Vikas Agarwal (Best Bowler), Harsh Sharda (Best Fielder), Akash Srivastava (Best Wicket-Keeper), Niraj Agarwal (Best Hitter) and Vikash Agarwal of MYM Steel City (Man of the Series).
MYM Provincial General Secretary Arun Gupta, Ashutosh Kabra, Nand Kishore Agarwal, Pawan Sharma, Manoj Goyal and others were present during the closing ceremony.
The team of organizers included MYM Tatanagar Achievers branch President Ravi Kumar Gupta, Branch Founder President Sugam Saraiwala, Anand Agarwal, Aditya Jajodia, Vijay Soni, Anshul Ringasia, Umang Sharma, Aman Agarwal, Akash Agarwal and others. (w/gsd)
