Ranchi, Dec 12: The Jharkhand boys’ throwball team showcased exceptional talent, securing the bronze medal at the 34th National Junior Throwball Championship held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from December 9 to 11. The team’s stellar performance brought pride to the state, marking a significant milestone in Jharkhand’s throwball journey.
Dr. Rajesh Gupta, President of the Jharkhand State Throwball Association, lauded the team’s dedication and hard work. “This victory is a testament to the players’ unwavering commitment. It will inspire more youth to pursue throwball and elevate the sport’s stature in the state. Our association remains steadfast in supporting and encouraging our players,” he said.
Association Secretary Nagina Kumar echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the collective effort behind the victory. “The entire team, backed by excellent coaching, has proven their mettle. This achievement paves the way for even greater success at national and international levels,” Kumar stated.
