Ganesh Mahali, Jawahar Bandra and JB Tubid to contest from Kolhan seats

Ranchi, Nov 14: Parting of ways with its ally AJSU Party, the BJP announced a third list of 15 candidates for the Jharkhand Assembly elections on Thursday. Conspicuous from its absence is the name of state food and civil supplies minister cum sitting MLA of Jamshedpur West Saryu Roy whose name has not figured in the list of candidates as yet. Some of the seats announced in the third list include those demanded especially by the AJSU during seat sharing talks with the BJP.
Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held in five phases from 30th November to 20th December.
As per the list, Ganesh Mahali will be contesting from Seraikela while former bureaucrat JB Tubid will be fielded from Chaibasa. Jawahar Bandra has been fielded from Kharsawan. The party has fielded Neelkanth Singh Munda from Khunti. Minister Amar Kumar Bauri has been given the ticket from Chandankiyari. AJSU has already fielded Uma Shankar Rajak from this seat. Suspense loomed over the names of Munda and Bauri till before the announcement of third list.
Other candidates include Laxman Prasad Singh from Dhanwar, Aparna Sengupta from Nirsa, Sujan Munda from Kolebira, Gajadhar Singh from Poreyahat, Biranchi Narayan from Bokaro, Dev Kumar Dhan from Mandar, Dinesh Oraon from Sisai, Janki Yadav from Barkatta, Jai Prakash Verma from Gandeya and Bhushan Path Pingla from Majhgaon.
