BJP appoints central observers to pick new CMs
Ranchi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday, December 8, appointed central observers for Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana to pick new chief ministers in these state.. The observers will meet the elected MLAs to decide on the chief ministerial candidates in these three states.
“The observers appointed by the party will come to the state and a meeting will be conducted with all the MLAs,” BJP leader Prahlad Singh Patel told media.
The saffron party has Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP’s general secretary Vinod Tawade and Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pandey as observers for Rajasthan. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Rajya Sabha K Laxman and party general secretary Asha Lakra have been appointed observers for Madhya Pradesh. For Chhattisgarh, BJP has appointed Union Ministers Arjun Munda and Sarbananda Sonowal and party general secretary Dushyant Gautam.
