Ranchi, Feb 13: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the Matriculation (10th) and Intermediate (12th) examinations scheduled for February 14, 2025, due to the Shab-e-Barat holiday. The exams will now be conducted on March 4, 2025.
The decision was taken by the examination organizing committee to ensure smooth conduct of the exams. JAC official stated that the board considered the significance of the festival before finalizing the new date. The rescheduled exams include Matriculation subjects Kharia, Khortha, Kurmali, Nagpuri and Panch Pargania in the first shift (9:45 AM to 1:00 PM). For Intermediate students, Hindi ‘A’ and English ‘A’ (for Science and Commerce) and Music (for Arts) will be conducted in the second shift (2:00 PM to 5:15 PM).
JAC has clarified that no new admit cards will be issued for the rescheduled exams and students must appear using their previously issued ones. The board has advised students and parents to stay updated through JAC’s official website and newspapers for any further announcements.
