Jamshedpur, April 6: JH Tarapore School organized its ‘Annual Recognition Night’ in the school premises on Friday.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Daisy Irani, a well known social worker. The Indian government has requested the United Nations to declare the year 2018 as the “Year of Millets” to boost production of the nutrient rich millets. The school also chose the theme for the Recognition Night as millets.
‘Every great achiever nurtures a positive mind set.’ The prize winners got their share of applause as they proudly received their awards in the field of ’Academic Excellence’, ‘Perseverance,’ Good Conduct’, ‘The Class All Rounder’ and ‘The Most Responsible Student’. Special prizes were also awarded for their accomplishments in the various clubs, sports and Olympiads.
On 28th March, a Blood Donation Camp was organized in the school campus. The students’ parents who participated in this noble cause were also felicitated. It was a moment of pride and satisfaction for the students as they achieved what they desired.
