Jamshedpur, July 14: After incurring an expenditure of nearly Rs 250 crore for building up the stadium, the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) is yet to clear its debts.
In such circumstances the Association has made Country Cricket Club (CCC) a medium for the diversion of funds.
The right for all sources of income has been provided to the JSCA but its being directed towards the CCC funds, where as the JSCA is still busy in reimbursement of the earlier debts, said former Ranji player Jeetu Patel talking to the media persons on Tuesday.
Jeetu asked the JSCA President of what kind of agreement has been signed with Country Cricket Club & Hotel Samgrah?
He further asked why has the Country Cricket Club paid Rs 18,00,000/- annually to JSCA and the payment was made in June 2015 for the fiscal year 2013-14; when the club was formed in 2012 itself?
Why the rents for the Hotel stay has not been disclosed till date? Jeetu said that the Association is fully corrupt and they dont have answers to my question and truth according to the former Ranji player is that JSCA is paying s 70 lakh annually as Electricity bill, Rs 20 lakh annually for Water bill, RS 30 lakh annually for its Security Charges, paid Rs 1 lakh as rent to HEC along with holding taxes and development authorities etc.
According to Jeetu the rights given to CCC is to collect tower charges and any advertisement put up in the stadium, to collect charges regarding the booking of stadium for events & marriage purposes, which sums to around Rs 1 crore, all booking collections of the 40 rooms & 6 suite rooms which sums around Rs 2 crore annually, the stadiums swimming pool & Tennis courts training fees also goes into CCCs account along with any rental charges of several thousand sq. ft. area are to be kept by the CCC.
After all what requirements can be fulfilled by the Country Cricket Club with the State Associations money which cant be done by the JSCA?
Jeetu framed President of JSCA Amitabh Choudhary for destroying cricket in Jamshedpur and said that In Jamshedpur, Choudhary targeted Tata Steel & exploited cricket here, then he set foot in Ranchi, and destroyed cricket there.
Now recent fight and dissension with HEC he is in the line to surely take Jharkhand cricket to its annihilation, added Jeetu.
