Jamshedpur: Janata Dal State president Salkhan Murmu (former MP) on Monday has received life threat from some miscreants. They have released a video on social media threatening to kill him and his supporters. He met Deputy Commissioner of the district Suraj Kumar, SSP met Tamil Vanan and submitted a written complaint.
Earlier, he also reached the Kadma police station and gave an application and in this regard requested to file an FIR. Taking prompt cognizance of this, the Deputy Commissioner and SSP have assured to take action. The application mentions that Ramesh Soren, a resident of Balipura village in Odisha Jajpur district, and his supporters aired the said video on September 23 in a YouTube channel called Adim Jumid, in which the above threats are made.
Not only this, Dukhiya Marandi in Assam Focus Facebook page, Rourkela (odisha) in Assam has made the said video viral. The former MP has urged the administration to act immediately and take legal action against Ramesh Soren and his associates. On this occasion, Salkhan Murmu also feared Ramesh Soren’s association with Naxalite and terrorists.
