JBVNL to start whatsapp consumer redressal service from May 1

Ranchi, April 25: JBVNL has brought relief news for the electricity consumers of Jharkhand.

Now consumers will not have to visit the electricity office for electricity related problems as their problems will be solved while sitting at home through whatsapp. All complaints related to electricity through a message.

It is noteworthy that JBVNL has now entered into an agreement with Gupshup Technology India Private Limited to provide electricity bills and other facilities to the consumers of Jharkhand through WhatsApp and messages.

It is a chatbot software company, which is owned by Meta. This company is doing this work with electricity companies of MP and other states. Officials said that there was a technical problem in uploading data to provide the facility in WhatsApp in Jharkhand.

Due to which this service will now start from May 1 after which consumers can get information about the dues along with the electricity bill.
