Jamshedpur : Following protest, Jharkhand BijliVitran Nigam Ltd’s (JBVNL) has put a stay on the transfer order of 13 junior engineers. The order was issued by Singhbhum electricity supply area general manager on Saturday. However, CMD of JBVNL Nitin Madan Kulkarni has put a stay on it.
The transfer of the junior techies was stopped following an order issued by the office of JBVNL CMD last evening .
After scrapping the JEs transfer order, Kulkarni issued another letter to the general manager AmarnathMishra , asking the latter to validate his stand for the mass transfer of JEs.
“The transfer order issued by the general manager, JBVNL’s Singhbhum electricity supply area has been scrapped by the chairman-cum-managing director. As per a letter issued by the CMD, I have asked all the 13 junior engineers to resume work from the posts where they were posted earlier,” said an official.
General manager, JBVNL’s Singhbhum electricity supply area board, Amarnath Mishra, had served transfer letter to 13 of the 29 junior engineers posted in Kolhan. Two of those transferred, Anoop Kumar Mahto and Sahnawaz Ansari were transferred within four months of their posting. There were several others who were transferred within one year of getting posted in the Singhbhum electricity supply area board. One of the junior engineers, transferred to Ghatshila division revealed that their transfer had been made wishfully by the general manager.
