Jamshedpur: A group of bhajan singers enthralled one and all during a musical programme organized at Sri Sri Shitla Mata temple in Tuiladungri on Wednesday. The artists, all from Chhatisgarh, sang Jash Geet, leading the audience to dance to their tune. A large number of people were present to enjoy the musical treat on the occasion of Navratra Jawara Mahotsava.
According to the temple committee president Dinesh Kumar, the Jash Geet performance was the chief attraction of the evening. All singers have come to the city from Ghorda in Rajnandgaon district of Chhatisgarh, he said.
The singers included Shyam Sonkar, Chumman Lal Sahu, Hariram Sahu, Bhola Ram Kannoje and Hukum Chandra Nisad. They would perform till 25th March after which they would leave for Chhatisgarh, said Kumar.
