Jasraj Khanuja joins strong Jamshedpur Steelers squad for Jharkhand T20 League

Jamshedpur Steelers announce 18-member squad, eye Jharkhand T20 League Title

 Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur-based all-rounder Jasraj Singh Khanuja has been included in the official squad of Jamshedpur Steelers for the inaugural Jharkhand T20 League. The franchise announced its 18-member team after the player auction conducted by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) and SJ Uplift on May 30. With a balanced mix of experienced players and young talent, the team is preparing confidently for the tournament beginning on June 10.

Jamshedpur Steelers made several important signings during the auction to strengthen their squad for the upcoming league. The franchise purchased Md. Kounain Quraishi for Rs 12.5 lakh, making him one of the highest-valued players in the team. Sahil Raj was signed for Rs 8.75 lakh, while experienced cricketer Kumar Deobrat joined the side for Rs 6 lakh. IPL player Anukul Roy, currently associated with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), was bought for Rs 4 lakh.

Among the notable additions is Jasraj Singh Khanuja, a talented all-rounder from Jamshedpur. Known for his aggressive style of play and ability to contribute in different situations, Jasraj is expected to play an important role for the team. Team officials described him as a fearless cricketer who can make an impact with both bat and ball. His inclusion has added further strength and local representation to the squad.

The team management also added several promising players including Niteen Kumar Pandey, Ravi Sharma, Siddhanth Raghuvanshi, Sameer Sharma, Kumar Karan, and Adarsh Giri. The franchise believes the squad has the right balance of batsmen, bowlers, and all-rounders to compete strongly in every match of the tournament.

Kounain Quraishi, Sahil Raj, Jasraj Singh Khanuja, Ravi Sharma, Adarsh Giri, Kumar Karan, Sameer Sharma, Siddhanth Raghuvanshi, Niteen Kumar Pandey, Aman Kumar, Hritik Anant, Pratik Ranjan, Manikant Mishra, Harsh Rana, Anurag Singh Sengar, and Pranjal Kumar.

The owners and management of Jamshedpur Steelers said the squad has been formed with proper planning and a clear vision. According to them, the team represents the spirit of Jamshedpur and Jharkhand, symbolizing hard work, discipline, passion, resilience, and determination.

“We have not merely selected players, but built a team that reflects the identity of Jamshedpur and Jharkhand. Our squad is as strong as steel and ready to face every challenge,” the management said.

The inaugural Jharkhand T20 League will be held from June 10 to June 23. Jamshedpur Steelers will enter the competition with confidence and the aim of emerging as one of the strongest contenders for the title. The franchise management said their objective is not just to participate in the league but to create a strong identity through performance and lift the JT20 trophy.
