Jamshedpur, May 12: Social Organisation Jan Satyagrah has demanded the checking of insurance, fitness, tax token, permit, driving license and pollution paper of autos, cars and heavy vehicles like the two-wheelers for the traffic safety of city.
The members of the organisation on Friday submitted a memorandum to SSP and DC of East Singhbhum and asked to implement the drive in Jamshedpur.
The delegation through the memorandum also asked for removal of tinted car glasses and to set a speed limit of vehicles and provide dress code for autos, buses and heavy vehicle drivers which would help curb on learners and would limit the road accidents. The memorandum further stated for ban on loudspeakers in autos with immediate effect.
The delegation included Manjeet Kumar Mishra, Rajesh Jha, Mahesh Paswan, Durga Prasad, Satendra Sharma, Pradeep Jha, Pappu Yadav, Jeet Arya, Pavan Upadhyay, Umesh Upadhayay, Ravi Raj, Pappu Kumar, Anil Kumar Singh and others.
