Jamshedpur: City-based NGO Jan Satyagrah has raised the issue of alleged assault and vandalism committed by certain anti-social elements in Govindpur outside a local company before the state labour department.
In a letter sent to the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand, the outfit officials alleged that the security guards and bouncers of the company had assaulted people demanding minimum wages to its workers on Thursday. The company allegedly removed many of its workers without any prior notice, said the officials.
The NGO members further alleged that the district administration officials had ignored their request for action against the guilty company officials.
