Jan Samvad: CM hears grievances, orders their speedy resolution

Ranchi: In connection with the murder of Surendra Munda of Dhoti village, Latehar dating back to 29th July 2015, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today directed the government officials concerned to give Rs. 1 lakh compensation to the wife of the deceased and a job to his dependent on compassionate grounds.

He showed resentment with the SP on delay in payment of compensation to the aggrieved family. He asked about the well-being of the victimís daughter and advised her to continue her study. Das was taking complaints of visitors during the Jan Samvad programme held here on Tuesday at Soochana Bhawan.

In connection with the illegal withdrawal of funds at Hurhad village for digging well, the DC said excess fund had been withdrawn. The CM said the fund should be recovered in a week.

The CM directed the Palamu DC to disburse funds to the aanganbadi sevikas of Patan in a week and ensure that they are supplied the nutritious food items timely.

No loopholes should be left for brokers to flourish, he said, adding that the education secretary should send a state level team to Rajkiya Kanya Madhya Vidyalay, Bharno , Gumla to probe the charges of irregularity against assistant teacher Sushma Naag and her husband Ajhar Ali in connection with building construction and other work during 2008-2012.

The Deoghar DC assured the CM that the encroached land in Dumka on the border areas of Jharkhand and Bihar has been demarked and the encroachers have been notified to remove it by 30th June or it will be removed forcefully.

A Simra resident, Ravindra Nath Thakur, who is undergoing treatment of cancer at Vellore, will be given an additional sum of Rs 1.5 lakh very soon. The toilet and bathroom of SC student hostel at Sector 6, Bokaro Steel City, were reported to be in shambles.

Just a day before the Sidhi Baat program, it was constructed, the CM was informed.

Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar said that maximum complaints registered with JSK are related with land litigation. Maximum complaints have been registered from land reformation dept., Giridih. 28% increase has been recorded with JSK in the last 6 months.
