Jamshedpur�s total Covid recoveries cross 14,000-mark

Corona Update: 48 positives, 43 recoveries, no deaths

Jamshedpur, Oct 24:�The daily detection of new coronavirus positive cases dropped below 50 in Jamshedpur on Saturday, October 24. The East Singhbhum district recorded 48 corona positive cases on Saturday. Positive tally has climbed to 15554 while the death toll remained at 347 with no death reported on Saturday. 43 people recovered of the virus taking the total recovery to 14031 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 1176. ������� The district administration spokesperson informed that 48 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Saturday. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 102291 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 90 % while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.

So far in Jamshedpur 284342 samples have been collected out of which 272299 have been tested and 256745 have turned out to be negative.

The recovery rate among the Coronavirus patients in Jharkhand has gone beyond 93 percent.

The Coronavirus patients tally is nearing one lakh in Jharkhand. The mortality rate among the patients currently stands at 0.87 percent. As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state is around 6000 while number of cured and discharged cases are around 90,000.

Despite the rampant rise in Coronavirus cases across the state the recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has improved significantly and has once gone above 93 percent mark.
