Jamshedpur, October 2: A bonus agreement between Tata Steel Zoological Society and its Workers Union was finalized on October 1, benefiting 20 employees for the financial year 2023-24. The agreement was signed in the presence of officials from both organizations.
As per the terms, the bonus will be calculated at a rate of 8.33% of the basic salary plus Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), similar to the previous year. The minimum bonus amount is set at ₹11,000, while the maximum is ₹20,000. Employees exceeding the upper limit will receive an additional ₹750.
Representing the management were Captain Amitabh, Honorary Secretary, Ajay Kumar Singh from HR, Deputy Directors Dr. Naim Akhtar and Dr. M. Palit, and R. Pawan Kumar, a member. On behalf of the Workers Union, the agreement was signed by President Raghunath Pandey, Vice President Dinesh Mahato, General Secretary Vijay Mukhi, Treasurer Binod Sharma, along with Pratap Gill, Lalan Singh, and Dileep Day.
