Jamshedpur, Sept 18: Tata Steel Zoological Society (TSZS) signed a bonus agreement with the TSZS Workers Union, offering a performance reward of 8.33% of the total salary (Basic + VDA) earned between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025. The agreement, reached in the presence of both management and union representatives, highlights the shared commitment to recognizing employee contributions and fostering harmonious industrial relations.
As per the agreement, the minimum ceiling for eligible employees has been fixed at Rs12,200, while the maximum ceiling is set at Rs 20,250 for those who have worked throughout the full accounting year. Employees whose performance reward crosses the upper ceiling of Rs 20,250 will receive an additional amount of Rs 1,000.
On behalf of TSZS management, the agreement was signed by Pranay Sinha, Vikas Kumar, Dr. Naim Akhtar, and Dr. M. Palit. Representing the TSZS Workers Union, the signatories included President Raghunath Pandey along with union officials Dinesh Mahato, Vijay Mukhi, Lalan Kumar, Binod Sharma, Dilip Dey, Pratap Singh Gill, and Sulendra Das.
In total, Rs 4.37 lakh will be disbursed to 21 employees of TSZS under this agreement. The payments are scheduled to be credited into employees’ accounts within the next two to three days.
Both management and union representatives stated that the agreement reflects their collective focus on employee welfare and continued cooperation for organizational growth. The initiative not only rewards employees for their efforts but also strengthens mutual trust and understanding within the workplace.
