T3 Zone members shine at Jharkhand Classic Powerlifting Championship
Jamshedpur, Feb 21: T3 Zone Jamshedpur members stole the limelight in the recently concluded Jharkhand State Classic Powerlifting Championship 2023 by winning seven medals in various categories.
Five members of the Kadma (Rani Kudar) based Gym cum Physical Fitness Center won four gold, two silver and a bronze medal including the Strongest Woman of Jharkhand award in the Championship organized by Jharkhand State Powerlifting Association in Ranchi on February 19.
Sweta Ray of T3 Zone was adjudged the Strongest Woman of Jharkhand. She also bagged gold medals in SBD and Bench Press.
Faraz Ahmed also won gold medal in SBD, Boby Ghosh bagged gold medal in SBD and silver medal in bench press.
Ritik Kumar took home the silver medal in SBD and Manas won bronze medal in SBD.
An official of the T3 Zone said, the medal winners trained themselves at the gym and sweated it out on a daily basis while preparing for the championship.
The gym celebrated their victory by organizing a cake cutting ceremony and also awarded them with gifts and vouchers.
“To motivate more such power lifters, the gym is procuring iron plates and bars for better training and performance,” the official added.
