Jamshedpur’s Special Olympic winner Guruvir meets CM

Ranchi, August 13: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that physically challenged children are not dependent; they can pave way in the direction they want & family & society should encourage them to do better in life.

He said it while boosting up morale of Miss Guruvir Kaur who had come from Jamshedpur to meet the CM. He suggested her to go ahead with her sports & assured to render her all possible help including providing her with training.

Chief Minister also encouraged her mother to boost up morale of her daughter to study & play sports.

It is notable that Miss Guruvir Kaur won two gold medals & one bronze medal at the Special Olympic conducted for physically challenged children at Los Angeles in United State of America from 25th July 2015 to 2nd August 2015.

Before this, Guruvir who studies at Asha Kiran School Jamshedpur had won one gold & one bronze medal in National Games (Special Olympics).
