Jamshedpur: The sacred occasion of Prakash Parv of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the sixth Guru of the Sikh faith and the embodiment of Miri-Piri (spiritual and temporal authority), was celebrated with great devotion and fervor at Gurudwara Sahib Sant Kutiya, Mango.
The celebration commenced with a Kirtan Darbar, where soulful renditions of Gurbani created a spiritual atmosphere, drawing devotees from across the city. The event witnessed the presence of former MLA and JMM Central Spokesperson Kunal Sarangi, who paid obeisance and interacted with the Sangat. In recognition of his presence and service, he was honored with a shawl by the Gurudwara Committee.
Addressing the gathering, Sarangi extended greetings on the Prakash Parv and emphasized the relevance of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji’s teachings in today’s world. He also actively participated in Langar Sewa, serving food to the devotees.
Prominent personalities present on the occasion included Inderjit Singh, Founder-President of Aagaaz Sanstha; Jagjit Singh of Bahadur Gatka Group; and Navneet Singh. The Kirtan Darbar was gracefully concluded with the distribution of Langar, comprising missi roti and kachi lassi, served to all with humility and love.
The event was organized under the leadership of Sardar Jasbir Singh Sandhu, Head of Gurudwara Sahib Santkutia. Others who contributed to the successful conduct of the celebration included Meet Pradhan Kamaljit Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Harkalyan Singh, Jagpreet Singh (President, Naujawaan Sabha), Malvinder Singh (Cashier, Central Sikh Naujawaan Sabha), Charandeep Singh, Sandeep Singh, and several dedicated volunteers.
The Sangat left the Gurudwara inspired by the Guru’s legacy and with renewed commitment to the values of courage, service, and righteousness.
