Jamshedpur: Rakesh Kumar Pandey, former student leader and current President of the Jharkhand State University Contractual Teachers’ Association, has been awarded a PhD degree. His research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Vijay Kumar Piyush, Principal of ABM College and focused on the “Analysis of Hindi-Speaking Folk Theatre Traditions.”
The final oral examination was held today at the postgraduate Hindi department of Kolhan University, in the presence of Prof. Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Head of Hindi Department, University of Prayagraj, who served as the external examiner.
Notable academic figures, including Faculty of Humanities Dean Dr. Tapan Khanda, Hindi HoD Dr. Bharti Kumari and several departmental council members attended the event. Cultural personalities like Gautam Gope and Devkumar Anand Kumar were also present, along with postgraduate students.
