Arguably one of the bloodiest chapters in the history of the world, the partition of India and Pakistan along Punjab wreaked havoc on millions of lives. Tens of thousands of people were displaced, killed, savagely raped, and forced to convert and flee, becoming refugees in an alien land that was ironically designated to be their ‘home’.

She said, “Unless you read, you cannot write and nowadays the young generation keeps themselves busy on social media, mobile phone and laptop only and they consider writing a useless thing. In such a situation, Nikita has set an example.”

Former District and Sessions Judge LP Choubey said, “Great people approach life differently to perform outstanding deeds. The youth should emulate such people to carve out an identity of their own. They should be like mirrors that boldly reflect social ills to crush venomous intents. Young author Nikita Chawla in her initial novel has taken this less traversed path and come out with a promising literary work.”

It tries to capture the beauty and simplicity of life which often goes unnoticed by us.  “This book makes you realise the biggest treasurer in your life-experiences.
