Jamshedpur’s Khushi Pandey secures 13th rank in JPSC on first attempt

Jamshedpur, July 25: The Kolhan region, including Jamshedpur, has delivered an impressive performance in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Civil Services Examination 2023, with several candidates achieving top ranks.

Among the top performers is Khushi Pandey, a resident of Kasidih, who secured an impressive 13th rank in her first attempt. Originally from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Khushi completed her schooling and higher education there. Her father, Pramod Kumar Pandey, is a physical education teacher at People’s Academy Plus Two School in Baradwari, while her mother is a government school teacher. Speaking about her success, Khushi credited discipline as the key to her achievement. “Understanding the syllabus and sticking to it with devotion makes the path to success easier,” she said.

Another proud achiever is Ankita Kumari of Telco, who secured the 30th rank, making her a strong contender for the administrative cadre. Ankita completed her schooling from Vidyabharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Telco. Her husband, Kanhaiya Kumar, is a senior manager at Tata Motors. Alongside preparing for civil services, Ankita also shares her knowledge by guiding other aspirants online, showcasing her commitment to helping others succeed.

Mampi Adhikari, who resides in ECC Flats, Kadma, secured the 102nd rank. Currently working at Tata Steel in the NS-6 grade, Mampi originally hails from Kashida Panchayat in Ghatsila subdivision, East Singhbhum. A former apprentice at Tata Steel, Mampi is currently pursuing her PhD from Jamshedpur Women’s University. Her academic journey includes schooling in Musabani, a graduation from BDSL College in Ghatsila, and a post-graduation from Jamshedpur Co-operative College.

Friday proved to be a day of double celebration for Mampli, as her PhD pre-submission and viva coincided with the release of the JPSC results. She attributed her success to self-study, her parents, relatives, and teachers. Her father, Alok Adhikari, retired as a contract worker at Tata Steel, while her mother, Rupali Adhikari, is a homemaker. Her brother, Rakesh Adhikari, is also employed at Tata Steel in the NS-6 grade.

Adding to the region’s success, Neeraj Kandir, also a Tata Steel employee, secured the 270th rank. He is a resident of Kasrauli village in Kuchai block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Another successful candidate is Sunil Murmu, from Bundu village in Rajnagar block, Seraikela-Kharsawan. Sunil is a postgraduate student of Political Science at LBSM College, Jamshedpur.

The success of these candidates highlights the growing academic aspirations and achievements in the Kolhan region. From working professionals to first-time aspirants, these individuals have proven that dedication, discipline, and determination are the cornerstones of success in one of the most prestigious examinations in the state.
