Jamshedpur, June 1: Bringing pride to his family and the city, Khush Mittal, son of East Singhbhum District Marwari Conference President Mukesh Mittal, has secured an All India Rank (AIR) 9251 in the prestigious IIT-Advanced examination.
A former student of Loyola School, Jamshedpur, Khush has been a consistently bright academic performer.
He passed his Class X examination in 2024 with an impressive 97 percent marks and prepared for IIT-Advanced under the guidance of Prerna Classes.
His achievement carries special significance for the family. Khush’s grandfather, Shankar Lal Mittal, former president of Laxmi Narayan Marwari Temple, Kadma, and a 1973 Mechanical Engineering graduate of NIT Jamshedpur (then RIT), had long cherished the dream of seeing his descendants study at an IIT.
The dream had already been realized by Khush’s sister, Paridhi Mittal, who is currently a fourth-year Chemical Engineering student at IIT Bombay. With Khush’s success, the family is celebrating yet another milestone in its academic legacy.
